Launch gig setlist: you decide!

Hello Campers. First things first, I just wanted to invite you along to the UK launch party for 'Lady Gasoline' on 10 June 2010. It's a full band show at the Troubadour Club in London, which is a great place - so it should be a blast. You can get your tickets now at http://www.singletonmusic.com/launch/ and I recommend that you do so asap, as a very limited number of seats are available. The gig is also your first opportunity to get your mits on a copy of the 'Lady Gasoline' CD - you can order your copy (for collection at the gig) when you buy your ticket online.

Now, since we're in the era of social media, and it's mainly people on social networks that have been egging me on in this foolhardy quest for musical success, I thought I'd go with the flow and ask you, dear readers, which tracks you'd like to hear at the gig.

The intention is to play most of the new album and 7 out of the 11 tracks from 'Twisted City'...so, which 7 'Twisted City' songs would you like to hear (in order of preference)? Leave a comment below and I shall tally up the votes for tracks; and at the event itself we shall do big, loud, live versions of these tracks for you (except for the quieter tracks, which we'll do, er, quietly).

I hope to see lots of you on the 10th! So get your track suggestions in.

All the best, Chris

PS The Facebook page for the event is at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=369737512793&index=1 if you'd like to let people on Facebook know about it etc.

Hi Chris,
you know I love your tracks, but here are some requests;
Worry Number One
Gimme Something
Somebody's Shoes
Get Up
The Only One
I am thinking some of your first album tracks will work well with The Distractions?

And the recommended singles from the new album like, obviously! The big chorus ones like Sold The World and Caught In The Sun, and Lou Reed. You Came With A Bang sounds like a future live favourite with its "World Party" chorus as long as you play it for over five minutes... The Stone Roses openers will get everyone away from the bar at the launch party. Troubador for a band set? More Jimi Hendrix than Bob Dylan then?

Has Zooey Deschanel heard Lou Reed yet?

I hopefully may be coming!
